Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
CelestiNet (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about the personal data we collect and how we use it. This policy covers both our website and our billing portal (billing.celestinet.com).
Client accounts, billing & payments
When you engage our services or use our billing portal, we collect and process the personal information needed to quote, invoice, and deliver those services — typically your name, contact details, billing address, and a record of your quotes, invoices, and payments.
We use this information to prepare quotes and invoices, deliver the agreed services or goods, process payments, keep you informed about your account, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Payments: Online card payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider. Your card details are entered with and processed by that provider — we do not receive or store your full card number.
Retention: We keep account and billing records for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights (POPIA)
In line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy query, please contact us.
Website browsing & analytics
When you browse our website, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, by contacting us). Some non-identifiable technical data may be collected automatically via cookies or analytics tools.
We use cookies to help improve your browsing experience and site performance. For more details, please read our Cookie Policy.
Our website uses analytics tools to better understand general user behaviour. This information is used solely to:
- Optimize the functionality, accessibility, performance, and security of the website

Analytics tools used:
- Google Analytics: This tool helps us understand how visitors use our site. Your IP address is anonymized during processing so that you cannot be personally identified. Google Analytics uses cookies; for more details, see our Cookie Policy.
- AwStats: This is an open-source tool that analyses server log files. It does not use cookies or tracking scripts. While IP addresses are included in the logs, this information is used for aggregate analysis and identifying technical or security issues only.
We may process personal information (such as your name or email) only if you provide it directly — for example, when contacting us. In such cases, the data will only be used for its intended purpose.
If you have any questions about your privacy or wish to request access to or deletion of your personal information, please contact us.
